Christian Mir the infamous chef from Tavern on The Green in Manhattan and at the helm of several top French Restaurants is at the helm of the historic Stone Creek Inn 405 Montauk Highway in East Quogue. This is one of my favorite 'nice' restaurants in the Hamptons with a great history and music and dancing I highly recommend checking this out for a nice evening out. and If you are in town and want to stay in town; The Patio at 54 Main Street is a long time staple for American flare and drinks at the bar. For Sushi lovers; try Sushi 1 at 210 Mill Road in Westhampton. At 94 Dune Road in East Quogue you can enjoy an awarded classic American Seafood/Steak Menu at the waterfront classic Dockers Waterside. QUOGUE

For the finest lodgings west of the canal; I recommend The Quogue Club at 47 Quogue St in the heart of the village. Once exclusively a private club; The Quogue Club offers classic Hamptons Style and amenities nearby to the Ocean Beaches, the village and Westhampton Beach.

RIVERHEAD - NORTH FORK & WESTERN HAMPTONS

The Preston House & Hotel at 428 East Main Street in Downtown Riverhead offers a convenient location if you are heading from the city and spending time on either fork. Nearby to the Aquarium, the water front, canoeing, golf, the North Fork beaches and wineries, boating and sailing, the Tanger Mall and some nice restaurants this newly renovated hotel in an antique building with lots of character is a very choice for those looking to see a bit of each forks.

Hotel Indigo just at the end of the very end of the Expressway moments away from the Tanger Mall offers a stylish stay in a Mid Century setting with a gourmet restaurant with top chefs at the helm; Bistro 72 is a sophisticated spot for dinner and or special events.

WESTHAMPTON

The Grassmere Inn at 7 Beach Lane in Westhampton Beach is an old world Hamptons style Bed and Breakfast situated in a bucolic village setting just moments to the ocean and all Westhampton Beach has to offer.

HAMPTON BAYS

Since 1960, the Hampton Maid on 12 acres has offered a respite and a central location with water views on the edge of Southampton. Recently renovated rooms, suites with outdoor spaces have given this classic a more sophisticated setting for group getaways & special events.

Open to the public for its' classic breakfast and Gift Shop with water views the Hampton Maid is an institution.

The Drake Inn at 16 Lane in Hampton Bays is another sweet option for boat lovers looking to dock a boat at the marina, have a waterfront room and enjoy a central location to the Hamptons with an easy drive to the North Fork.
